The Dermoplast® Pain, Burn & Itch Spray used in hospitals is the same formulation as Dermoplast® Pain, Burn & Itch Spray that is also sold over-the-counter at retail stores.

Dermoplast® Pain, Burn & Itch Spray is also sold over-the-counter at your local retailer, is safe and effective for use at home for the temporary relief of pain and itching associated with minor cuts, minor burns, scrapes, sunburn, minor skin irritations and insect bites. If your healthcare professional recommended Dermoplast® Pain, Burn & Itch Spray, please follow their instructions closely and consult with them if you have any questions regarding their recommended use of the product.

Dermoplast® First Aid Spray 2.75 oz is indicated for the temporary relief of pain & itching and to help prevent infection in minor cuts, scrapes and burns—it contains a first aid antiseptic Benzethonium Chloride (0.2%) as well as the topical analgesic pain reliever, Benzocaine (20%).

Dermoplast® Pain, Burn & Itch Spray 2.75 oz contains Benzocaine (20%) and Menthol (0.05%) for the temporary relief of pain and itching of minor cuts, scrapes, sunburns, minor burns and insect bites. Please see our Treatment Uses for more information on how to care for minor injuries.

Benzocaine is a local anesthetic (numbing medication.) When topically (externally) applied to the skin, it works to relieve pain by temporarily blocking the nerve signals.
